Privacy & Analytics
Nonmortal uses a limited set of technologies to operate the website, protect it, understand aggregate usage, and process verified contact-form submissions. We do not use this website configuration for targeted advertising or retargeting.
Information you choose to provide
If you use the contact form, we receive the information you voluntarily provide, which may include your name, email address, optional phone number, technology category, other details and message, so we can verify the submitted email address, deliver the message, respond to the inquiry, and conduct legitimate business operations.
Analytics providers
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare provides privacy-focused website performance and traffic analytics. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics product does not use cookies and does not collect or use visitors' personal data. Cloudflare also provides security and network services that are necessary to serve and protect this website.
Google Analytics 4
When enabled, Google Analytics helps Nonmortal understand aggregate website usage, section views, navigation behavior, and contact-flow events. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and personalized-advertising signals are disabled in this implementation. In jurisdictions configured for prior consent, Google Analytics is not loaded until the visitor allows optional analytics.
Ahrefs Web Analytics
When enabled, Ahrefs Web Analytics provides aggregate traffic and interaction analytics. Ahrefs states that its Web Analytics product does not use cookies or persistent identifiers by default and does not store raw IP addresses. In jurisdictions configured for prior consent, the Ahrefs analytics script is not loaded until the visitor allows optional analytics.
Regional privacy behavior
The website uses Cloudflare's request-level country and first-level region code to decide which privacy experience to show. The browser receives only the country and region code needed for this decision; the site does not store precise geolocation for this purpose.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the site is configured to ask before activating optional Google Analytics and Ahrefs analytics. For visitors elsewhere, optional analytics may load without a pop-up unless the visitor has previously disabled them or the browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Privacy laws can depend on more than location, including the nature of the processing, business thresholds, and the purposes for which data is used. This regional implementation is designed to reduce unnecessary pop-ups while providing stronger controls in consent-sensitive jurisdictions.
United States privacy signals and state rights
Some U.S. state privacy laws provide rights relating to sale, sharing, targeted advertising, profiling, and other uses of personal data. This website configuration does not enable advertising or retargeting trackers. The site nevertheless respects a browser Global Privacy Control signal by disabling optional analytics.
If advertising, retargeting, or data-sharing technologies are added later, the privacy controls and state-specific behavior should be reviewed and updated before those technologies are enabled.
Your choices
You can change your optional analytics preference at any time by selecting Privacy Choices in the website footer. The site stores a first-party preference locally on your device so it can remember your choice. That preference is treated as necessary for honoring your privacy selection and is refreshed after approximately six months.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, optional analytics are disabled automatically in this implementation.
